On this day in 1983, Angie & Jesse ( Debbi Morgan & Darnell Williams) were first married on All My Children. Angie & Jesse were daytime television's first African American supercouple.In 1984, Don Diamont made his daytime debut in the role of Carlo Forenza on Days of our Lives. His character would be killed off at the end of the year. Diamont would move on to long-term roles on The Young and the Restless (Brad Carlton) and The Bold and the Beautiful where he has played the role of Bill Spencer since 2009.
On this day in 2010, Chad Duell made his debut as Michael Corinthos on General Hospital. After joining GH, Duell would receive numerous Daytime Emmy nominations for his work, including a win for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2015.
