On this day in 1995, the exorcism of Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) began on Days of our Lives. The story began when Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) hypnotized Marlena in the hopes of having her fall in love with him. Instead, the hypnosis left her open to demonic possession and led to Marlena becoming possessed by the devil.In 1997 - General Hospital's Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) tried to kill Dr. Pierce Dorman (Tuc Watkins). Monica reached her breaking point when she realized that Dorman got her daughter, Emily (Amber Tamblyn) addicted to drugs. That was Dorman's revenge for Monica breaking things off with him romantically.
In 2006 - Actor James Scott made his debut in the role of EJ DiMera on Days of our Lives. He played the role until 2014 and has vowed to never, ever return to the show. Scott retired from acting and started a life-coaching business. The role of EJ Dimera is currently being played by Dan Feuerriegel...and he's wonderful!
